Sheila Earl 2013As a child Sheila enjoyed good health, so it wasn’t until she suffered from severe depression in her late teens and 20′s that she realized that conventional “medicine by authority” offered no true solutions and often did great harm.

After a psychotherapist introduced her to homeopathy she began her studies at the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst and fell in love with the brilliant art and system of Medical Heilkunst. It provided the cure for the diseases underlying the depression, while revealing the deeper meaning behind the suffering and a roadmap for true health on all levels.

Inspired by the possibilities offered by Heilkunst, Sheila opened her practice in 2004. She enjoyed four years practicing in beautiful St. John’s, Newfoundland, where she deepened her knowledge and experience in treating many chronic conditions, including Autism, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue.  She now resides in Almonte, Ontario and offers consultations by phone and Skype as well as in-person at the Carp Ridge Natural Health Clinic 30 minutes west of Ottawa.

Sheila also teaches at the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst and currently holds the position of Dean of Heilkunst Studies.

What is Medical Heilkunst?

Heilkunst is a German word meaning, “the art of making whole”.  It is the term used by the German medical reformer, Dr. Samuel Friedrich Hahnemann for his complete system of medicine.  Hahnemann is best known for developing homeopathic medicine, which is dynamic/energetic in nature and is applied using the Law of Similars (‘like cures like’): the principle that a substance which can cause disease can also cure a similar disease.  Because it is created through a process of dilution and succussion, homeopathic medicine is gentle, non-toxic and safe for anyone to use, including children and pregnant women.

While homeopathic medicine is an integral part of Medical Heilkunst, Hahnemann’s full system encompasses three aspects vital to maintaining good health

  • Therapeutic Regimen (recommendations for lifestyle: Nutrition, Hydration, Recreation/Fitness and Dormition/Sleep)
  • Therapeutic Medicine (use of homeopathic medicine to dynamically remove disease)
  • Therapeutic Education (understanding the role of disease in unfolding spiritual purpose and evolution of consciousness)

Heilkunst can be used to treat any condition, chronic or acute, physical, emotional or spiritual in nature.  For more information about Medical Heilkunst and whether it is right for you, please email Sheila at mailto:msdearl@hotmail.com.  More information can also be found at the website for the Canadian—International Heilkunst Association at www/heilkunstinternational.com/faq/
