A few weeks ago I treated myself to an exercise session with a difference: outside in the woods! Jasen is a young man with a profound understanding of how modern people are alienated from nature and seeks to remedy this in his own way. He has created a possibility for people to get and stay fit while communing with trees, rocks and earth.
We started on the grass in front of the clinic doing stretches and crawling like an animal. It immediately felt vitalizing! The weather was warm enough to take off our shoes and socks and feel the ground while we walked into the woods, balancing on logs, climbing trees and hanging on branches. By the time we finished at my front yard, I felt like sprinting across the lawn—and did!
