Come and join us as we move through Mid-Autumn at Carp Ridge Ecowellness Centre.  Mid-Autumn is the season of letting go, gratitude, and integration as we enter the ending/completion phase of the year. We dive deeply into the creative void of the dark times ahead.  We prepare for rest and rejuvenation of winter hibernation.  This is a reflective, spiritually-focused time as well.

I will be leading you into deep, integrative meditation and we’ll be having a sense of completion of the year’s journey we’ve been sharing in a group setting. This is an ending of a cycle, but not an end, as we continue around the ‘Wheel of Life’ by going into the stillness together to vision and co-create the next cycle of seasons.

Some of us have created power sticks to claim our power and create what we want in our lives and sharing our authentic gifts in community.  If you have created one, please bring it to this next circle. If not you can bring a stick that you find somewhere or look for one on the property at the Centre.

Also, I invite you to come wearing something that reflects your essence or personal qualities. It can simply be your favorite colour or something more elaborate and creative if you feel like it (This is a fun task, not something stressful).

Please note the following session will be SATURDAY, November 26th.

Please bring:

  • appropriate clothing for being outside, rain or shine
  • personal water bottle
  • journal writing materials
  • healthy food for potluck lunch
  • your personal power stick if you have made one
  • wear something that reflects your essence or personal gifts

From previous meeting:
Come and join our Autumn celebration as we create our power sticks and pass through the Autumn Equinox Gate that will be created in the West on the property at Carp Ridge Ecowellness Centre.

Autumn is the time of maturing what has been growing in our lives and harvesting the gifts of our efforts. It is the season of letting go, gratitude, and sharing celebration as we begin the completion and integration phase of the year.

Our power stick is symbolic of stepping into our more authentic selves and claiming this identity through the group ceremony at the Western Gate. We claim our power to create what we want in our lives and share our authentic gifts in community.

Please bring healthy seasonal foods for the potluck. Support local farmers during this harvest time.

Please note the next session will be SATURDAY, Oct 29.

Please bring:

  • appropriate clothing for being outside, rain or shine
  • personal water bottle
  • journal writing materials
  • healthy food for potluck lunch
  • stick for power stick or you can use one I have brought
  • items for decorating your power stick

PREVIOUS HEART CIRCLE POSTS:
Happy Summer everyone!
Come and join us for our next Heart Circle for Mid-Summer creativity.  Mid-Summer is the time of the maturing what is growing in our lives and the first harvest of showing what our inspired actions are manifesting.  We will be decorating a power  stick that you have found or you can find on at the Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre. Please bring items to decorate your stick. I will supply you with paint if you want and a few other items. Our power stick is symbolic of stepping into our more authentic selves and claiming this identity through the group ceremony in September.  If you can’t come in July you can do this on your own and have it ready for the next session on August 27th.  We will be also focussing on sustaining changes in our lives and deepening our Heart Circle community.

See you soon.

Please bring:

  • appropriate clothing for being outside, ie sun hat
  • personal water bottle
  • journal writing materials
  • healthy food for potluck lunch
  • stick for power stick
  • items for decorating your power stick

Note from Lise on recent gatherings:

Hi everyone~

I want to catch you up on our community monthly gathering, Life in Transition Heart Circle.  Since the end of January we have been on a journey together to support each other in our personal transitions and those larger transitions that we are all experiencing, even globally.

We went deeper into the theme of how to open our hearts and bring awareness to the natural defenses that come up whenever we shut down to opening more to life. This is not to judge these protective reactions, because we have developed them for reasons.  The key is awareness, so that we have a choice of what we want to do to safely step towards what we want in life, without triggering these defenses.

When we do have them triggered by life’s interactions and events, we can use our awareness of the energy of the shut down as a contrast, to fuel our forward movement . We can access our inspired action from a place of worthiness instead of our conditioned motivation that is not from our authentic essence.  We can step into our power, express our true gifts, and live our true purpose in life, which is joy.

I am off the middle of June to a retreat, part of a course I am taking with Christian Pankhurst: Accelerated Awakening through Heart Intelligence, Embracing Change.  I will be traveling into the beautiful mountains in North Carolina and coming home inspired.

I hope you can join us on June 25th for our next Life in Transition Heart Circle.  We will be celebrating Summer Solstice energies and walking through the summer ‘Initiation Gate’ leading to the growing garden.  We have been preparing for this together with our painted murals and planting ceremony.

If you haven’t come to any of our previous gatherings, no problem. You are welcome to join any month. We are traveling the ‘Wheel of Life’ ~ it is circular and continuous.

Life in Transition Heart Circles Introduction:

Heart Intelligence heightens our awareness, so we can manifest in our lives from a fully conscious place, without the effects of our sabotaging strategies.  We practice and develop emotional literacy that puts our hearts in charge as masters. Our minds then become the servants, to do the job they are meant to do as problem solvers. We take inspired action which is connected to our higher purpose.

Our action is motivated and fueled by our longing and not by our conditioning. This comes with the practice of discernment of which parts of us are speaking from our authentic being and which parts are from our conditioning. We begin to surrender the old patterns of attitudes and behaviors that are not serving us. This happens when we strengthen our motivations that come from, what it is that we want, rather than, what it is that we think we need.

Heart Circles create a safe container, an amplified field of energy, to help us experience an opening of our hearts in a safe environment.  We are expanding our awareness together, giving each other feedback and helping each other to go deeper into what is really true and authentic for us. We can move through difficulties and transitions with more ease and effectiveness with the support of the circle.

As part of the Life in Transition Heart Circles we use meditation, physical movement, emotional processing, mental focus and spiritual awareness along with a creative component. This process prepares us for the ‘ritual performance’ of walking through the ‘Initiation Gates’ in each seasonal direction to embody our experience. We travel together around the medicine wheel in the four directions for healing, growth, and to honour our path towards completion and integration.

This journey around the ‘Wheel of Life’ is done in Community to enrich what we do personally in our lives. What we can do together is so much quicker and effective than what we can do alone. It is like having broadband internet instead of dial-up. But it is also more real than our virtual experience, as we are connecting to nature and to each other.

Update on the April 30th monthly Heart Circle:

We have initiated our community Heart Circle and taken the first wobbly steps in our journey with this new form. This reflects the energy of this seasonal cycle. During this time of year it is akin to anything that is newly birthed and is fragile and needing nurturing. It is like the phase of infant and toddler. Out in the garden we are cultivating the earth, adding compost to fertilize, and weeding to give space for the new baby shoots to have space to grow. We are doing our spring cleaning and preparing for building or starting projects of all kinds. This preparation time is laying the foundation for the new growth to happen.

In our heart circle we are becoming aware of the patterns that have been in place to protect us which are our defense strategies that we learned early on in our lives. In order for us to mature and move forward towards giving space for the new in our lives, we first start by seeing the ‘weeds’ that are those ways of being that do not serve us at this time of our lives. We need to feel in an atmosphere of safety in order to do this, just as a child needs the support of a loving parent before they can take the first steps in anything that they are doing.

For this session we will continue this exploration and use the energy that has started with mid Spring. It is the energy of the child which is filled with wonder, play and exploration. We are preparing for the next ‘Initiation Gate’ at Summer Solstice. The painting we started will be completed and we will do a planting ceremony to symbolize that which we are growing in our lives.

Please bring:

  • appropriate clothing for painting and being outside, ie sun hat
  • personal water bottle
  • journal writing materials
  • blanket for the floor (pillow optional)
  • healthy food for potluck lunch – for this one please no dairy, meat, sugar or flour as the meal will be reflecting a cleansing diet
  • meaningful item for altar

Spring has sprung and we look forward to the more active and growing cycle of the year.  At Carp Ridge, we have birthed a ‘Heart Circle’ with our recent Spring Meditation Day which will continue to grow as a regenerative community event.  The Life in Transition Heart Circle is a sacred space and inner journey, where we can be supported in community through guided meditations and group processes, including movement, sharing, and outdoor connection to nature.

At the Spring Heart Circle we will be focussing on cleansing on all levels as it is a good time to do some Spring cleaning.  It is also an active time of year, so we will look at what is growing or what we are building in our lives and what action steps we are taking to strengthen this growing manifesting process.

From March 19th Meditation Day:
The last of winter hibernating urges are winding down and the ‘spring sap’ in our veins is rejuvenating us and preparing for the more active spring time.

It is time to organize and make plans for manifesting our dreams for the growing season.  This is not just about gardens, but also about any project or change in our life.  Feel the sun strengthening outside and take time to go inside yourself, to see what is strengthening within you.  Feel the strength of your intentions and connect with your creative source.

Find your passions stirring as we access the stillness of meditation.  We will share inspiration in community and enjoy a potluck lunch together.  There will be guided meditation, gentle movement, dance, art and a nature walk to connect to the outside and appreciate the beauty of the forest here at Carp Ridge.  Being in a group will give you support for any transition you are moving through, as we help each other to affirm our personal intentions.
